Single 2 Mingle ("we", "our", "us") operates the Single 2 Mingle mobile application and the website at single2mingle.techiegenz.one (collectively, the "Service"). This page explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

1.1 Information you provide

• Account info — email address (via Google Sign-In), display name, age, gender, who you're interested in.
• Profile content — photos, bio text, WhatsApp number and Telegram username (optional, only revealed after a mutual match).
• Messages — the text of messages you send to other users.
• Reports — when you report another user, we store your user ID, the reported user ID, the reason, and any context you provide.

1.2 Information collected automatically

• Precise location — latitude and longitude (with your explicit permission) used to compute distance and to show nearby people.
• Approximate location — city, state, and country, derived by reverse-geocoding your coordinates via OpenStreetMap Nominatim.
• Device info — Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) push tokens, IP address, basic device/OS info from server logs.
• Activity — likes, profile visits, last-active timestamps, online status.

2. How we use your information

• To match you with other users based on your preferences and proximity.
• To deliver messages, push notifications, and in-app banners.
• To moderate content, investigate reports, and remove accounts that violate our Terms.
• To keep the Service secure (rate limiting, abuse detection).

3. Photo & content moderation

We actively monitor uploaded photos and messages. Photos containing nudity, sexual content, violence, illegal activity, or that misrepresent your identity will be removed. Repeated violations or any single severe violation will result in immediate account termination without refund.

4. Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

• Other users — your profile (name, age, photos, bio, distance, approximate location). Your contact details (WhatsApp, Telegram) are shared only after a mutual match.
• Service providers — MongoDB Atlas (database hosting), Firebase (authentication & push notifications), OpenStreetMap Nominatim (reverse geocoding).
• Law enforcement — when required by law or to investigate fraud, abuse, or safety threats.

5. Your rights

• Access & correction — edit your profile any time from the My Profile screen.
• Deletion — tap "Delete Account" in the My Profile screen. This permanently removes your profile, photos, matches, and messages from our database.
• Block — block any user from a chat to remove the conversation and prevent future contact.
• Location off — you can revoke location permission at any time in your device settings; some features (Nearby tab, distance) will not work without it.

6. Data retention

Account data is retained until you delete your account. Reports are retained for up to 12 months after resolution. Server access logs are retained for up to 90 days for security purposes.

7. Children

The Service is for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If we learn an account belongs to a minor, we delete it immediately.

8. Security

All traffic is over HTTPS/WSS. Passwords (where applicable) are not stored — authentication uses Google Sign-In via Firebase. We follow industry-standard security practices but cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be communicated in-app. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated policy.
